Midcoat MIO ZD53-62A
Midcoat MIO ZD53-62A is a two-component epoxy coating formulated with epoxy resin, micaceous iron oxide (MIO) pigments, and polyamide curing agent.
It can be used as an intermediate layer and sealing coating for high-performance anti-rust paints such as epoxy zinc-rich primer and inorganic zinc-rich primer to enhance the shielding and protective properties of the entire coating;
It can be used as an anti-rust primer for steel structures; It can be used as a surface shielding and anti-corrosion intermediate coating for concrete structures and preceding coat for old coatings touch up as long as compatibility permits.
Advantages of Midcoat MIO ZD53-62A
· Excellent barrier and corrosion resistance properties due to "maze" effect formulated through a large amount of flaky mica iron oxide contained.
· Excellent resistance to chemical atmosphere, industrial atmosphere and marine atmosphere, and has good resistance to seawater, salt, weak acids and weak bases.
· Long recoating intervals.
