Dual Anti-Corrosion Protection Mechanism

Cathodic protection is the core sacrificial anti-corrosion principle of premium cold galvanizing compound. Zinc features a standard electrode potential of -0.76V, which is more active than iron’s -0.44V.


When coated on steel substrates, the zinc layer acts as a sacrificial anode and corrodes preferentially. It continuously releases electrons to the underlying steel base, forming a stable electrochemical protection loop that isolates the steel from oxidation and corrosion.


Our cold galvanizing compound adopts ultra-pure and ultra-fine zinc powder matched with a dedicated conductive fusion agent. Professional Construction Guidelines for Cold Galvanizing Compound

Surface Preparation

Qualified surface preparation is critical for perfect coating adhesion. Clean all oil, dust and contaminants from the steel surface with professional detergent or solvent, then rinse to achieve a neutral base. Remove rust, defective coatings and weld burrs via sandblasting or power tools to form a smooth, dry and clean substrate for coating.

Coating Pre-Processing & Dilution

This single-component cold galvanizing compound is ready for direct use after simple stirring. Stir the coating thoroughly for over 3 minutes until smooth and particle-free after opening. Add 0-5% professional thinner appropriately based on temperature and spraying pressure to get optimal atomization effect.

Standard Coating Operation

Multiple flexible construction methods are available for this coating. For brushing and rolling, adopt a standard cross-coating technique with lint-free tools to avoid sagging and uneven coverage. For airless spraying, use a 1:32 compression pump and Z-type nozzle, spray vertically at a 30cm distance with two cross-coat passes to reach standard film thickness.
