Recoatable Epoxy Topcoat ZD6380 is Two-component, high-build, polyamide-cured recoatable epoxy coating.
Classic Applications
Marine use: suitable for topsides, Deck, superstructure etc.
Protective use: Suitable for chemical plant, power station, general steel structure or concrete structures
Suitable for new building as well as repair and maintenance for both marine and protective environment.
Recoatable Epoxy Topcoat ZD6380
· General-purpose epoxy build coat or finish in protective coating systems, for steel and concrete structures exposed to atmospheric land or marine conditions
· Easy application, both by airless spray and brush
· Cures even at temperatures down to -10°C (14°F)
· A high relative humidity (maximum 95%) during application and curing does not influence the quality of the coating
· Good adhesion on most aged, sound alkyd, chlorinated rubber and epoxy coatings
· Can be recoated with various two-component and conventional coatings, even after long weathering periods
· Resistant to water and splash of mild chemicals
· Excellent corrosion resistance

Applications
Application Notes
1. The specified thinner must be used and applied on the compatible primer or intermediate paint; otherwise, it will affect the product quality.
2. During the paint preparation process, it is strictly forbidden to contact with water, acid, alkali, alcohol, etc.
Component B is very easy to react with water and other substances. The packaging barrel of the remaining component B after preparation must be tightly covered.
3. During the application, drying, and curing period, the relative humidity shall not be greater than 85%.
4. During the application process, or shortly after the application, the surface is subjected to water vapor condensation and sudden cooling, which will cause the surface to lose gloss, turn white, and deteriorate in quality.
5. When applications are made by either roller or brush, multiple coats may be required to obtain a complete covering effect, especially for some lead-free bright colours such as yellow, orange, etc.
